8P/Tuttle, elements of physical protection for the body and its movement

8P Tuttle is an amor comet discovered in January of 1858. There ia a prediscovery image back to January of 1790. It reached the perihelion in January of 2008.

The orbit is between the Earth-Moon system and Saturn. It has a perihelion of 1.02 AU and an aphelion of 10.38 AU. The semimajor axis is at 5.70 AU. It has an orbital period of 13 years and 233 days. It has an inclination of  54.9º (vigintile 54º [=biquintile 144º > 0º Capricorn], 0º55' orb). It has  a diameter of about 4.5 km.

Radar observations in January 2008, revealed that your kernel is actually made up of two cores in touch.

8P/Tuttle is the comet that generates the meteor shower known as Ursids, from day 17 to 26 December of each year. Its name is due to the fact that its radiant point is located very close to the star Kochab (Beta Ursae Minoris) in the constellation of Ursa Minor.

Orbital resonance:
13:6 with Saturn (99.6%)
13:15 with Jupiter (99.6%)
-
4:15 with Vesta (99.7%)
2:5 with Europa (99.8%)
7:15 with Cybele (99.7%)

8P/Tuttle is related to elements of physical protection (Saturn) for the body and its motion (Earth-Moon system), such as for example the fireman's uniform with thermal insulators, helmet, sunglasses, shield, etc.

67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, personal ideals and values in the handling of objects

67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko is a short period comet discovered in September of 1969. It has a perihelion of 1.21 AU and an aphelion of 5.70 AU. The semimajor axis is at 3.45 AU. It has an orbital period of 6 years and 153 days. It has an orbital incination of 3.8º.

In February 1959, a close encounter with Jupiter moved its perihelion inward (close to the Earth-Moon system), where it remains today.

67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko is the destination of the European Space Agency's Rosetta mission, launched on 2 March 2004. The Rosetta spacecraft rendezvoused with the comet on 6 August 2014 and entered orbit on 10 September 2014. Rosetta's lander, Philae, is scheduled to land on the comet's surface on 11 November 2014.

"The Diary of Anne Frank" (1959)

67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko is related with the self-confidence that arises before starting the physical contact, when the fulfilment of the task is in complete accordance with the personal ideals and values.

Self-efficacy in the handling of objects

"
The theory suggested by Albert Bandura (1987) proposes that the perception that has a person about her domain on the task will determine her expectations of success, and also its persistence in the implementation and the amount of effort invested in carrying out the task. Self-efficacy is based on different cognitive factors such as the history of the reinforcements, the previous evaluations and information on appropriate strategies. According to this, when students show doubts about their ability, they tend to avoid participating in that task, spend less efforts and do not persist in the face of difficulties, all this causes a lower performance than those students who feel able to cope. But self-efficacy is not the only belief that influences the behavior, the expectations about the results also have an effect on it." (UNED, 2009; "Psicología de la motivación")

1P/Halley, simple but ingenious video games

1P/Halley is a comet discovered in December of 1758 and reobserved in the years 1835, 1909, 1982, 1986 and 1994. It has a perihelion of 0.59 AU and an aphelion of 35.1 AU (Mercury/Venus-Kuiper belt combination). The first known observation goes back to -239.

Orbital resonance:
  • 9:8 with Uranus (99.9%)
  • 11:5 with Neptune (99.7%)
  • 1:14 with Interamnia (99.8%)

The comet 1P/Halley is related with the sensorial experience of playing a video game, were the graphics, the sound and the music, becomes an interactive experience through the control by the game pad (Mercury/Venus-35 AU).

"Flower" (PS3, 2009)

The last appearance of the comet 1P/Halley, which reached its perihelion in February of 1986, clashed with the golden age of arcade video games (1982-1986), with "Pac-Man" (1980) as the most successful video game. (Wikipedia: History of video games)

In previous appearances of the comet (1909, 1835 and 1758), the video game interactive experience of 1P/Halley was reduced to simple playing a musical instrument. During the actual generation of video game consoles (2006-2013), the experience of 1P/Halley was expanded with the communication on line with other players by the headset.
