(49) Pales is a main belt asteroid discovered in September of 1857. It was spotted without being identified in January of 1908, March of 1947, December of 1950, June of 1954 and November of 1988.

The orbit is located at the outer zone of the main belt. It has a perihelion of 2.39 AU and an aphelion of 3.79 AU. The semimajor axis is at 3.09 AU. It has an orbital period of 5 years and 160 days. It has an inclination of  3.1º. It has a diameter of about 149 km.

Photometric observations were carried out in the year 1977.

(2063) Bacchus is an apollo asteroid discovered in April of 1977.

The orbit is located between the zone of orbital piercing from Venus toward Mercury, and the aphelion of Mars. It has a perihelion of 0.70 AU and an aphelion of 1.45 AU. The semimajor axis is at 1.07 AU. It has an orbital period of 1 year and 43 days. It has an inclination of 9.4º. It has a diameter of about 1 km.

Photometric observations were made in March-April of 1996, October of 2015 and September of 2016.

The orbit is located at the mid zone of the main belt. It has a perihelion of 2.28 AU and an aphelion of 3.26 AU. The semimajor axis is at 2.77 AU. It has an orbital period of 4 years and 226 days. It has an inclination of 16.3º.It has a diameter of about 222 km.

Photometric observations were carried out in the years 1982, 1985, 1987-1988, 2002 and 2004. Star were occulted in June of 1978, June of 2002 and April of 2015.

Historical character

The asteroid (532) Herculina was discovered by Max Wolf (1863-1932), whose father strove to inculcate interest in science, building a small observatory in the garden of his family home. After completing his postgraduate studies, he accepted a teaching post at Heidelberg University, rejecting positions at other institutions for several years. He participated actively in the supervision of the construction of the observatory Landessternwarte Heidelberg-Königstuhl, where he worked as a director, once inaugurated and until his death.

(532) Herculina is related to education and teaching (11:8 resonance with Cybele). It has the capacity to transmit patterns of behavior and norms of coexistence to children, like in the movie "Superman" (1978); or procedures and company policy to workers who have just joined into the company, like in the movie "Unstoppable" (2010).

(99) Dike, structured family

(99) Dike is a main belt asteroid discovered in May of 1868. It was spotted without being identified in January of 1915, October of 1935, December of 1935, October of 1939, October of 1948, November of 1948, December of 1961 and November of 1974.

The orbit is located in the midle of the main belt. It has a perihelion of 2.14 AU and an aphelion of 3.18 AU. The semimajor axis is at 2.66 AU. It has an orbital period of 4 years and 127 days. It has an inclination of 13.8º. It has a diameter of about 81 km.

Photometric observations were carried out in the years 2009 and 2011. There were star occultations in October 2003, December 2005, February 2012 and May 2016.

Stephenie Meyer, author of the books of the saga "Twilight" (2005-2008), has Dike in Pisces (10th-11th Moon-Node Houses) in trine with Saturn in cancer (6th-7th Moon-Node Houses), and in sextile with the Sun and the Moon in capricorio (12th-1st Moon-Node Houses), which are in trine with Mars in Taurus (8th-9th Moon-Node Houses).

Kristen Stewart, actress of the saga of movies "Twilight" (2008-2012) has Dike in Sagittarius (10th-11th Moon-Node Houses) in trine with the Sun in Aries (2nd-3rd Moon-Node Houses).   

Chris Noth, actor of the movies "The Perfect Man" (2005) and the TV series "The Good Wife" (2009), has Dike in Libra (4th Moon-Node House) in septile with the Venus-Ceres conjunction. The beginning of the filming of "The Good Wife" (2009) clashed with the opposition in the Moon-Node Horoscope between the Age Progression and Dike.

(96189) Pygmalion, the touching moments of 'Venus in square'

(96189) Pygmalion is an amor asteroid discovered in July of 1991. There is a prediscovery image back to March of 1986.

The orbit is between Earth-Mars and the inner main belt. It has a perihelion of 1.26 AU and an aphelion of 2.37 AU. The semimajor axis is at 1.82 AU. It has an orbital period of 2 years and 168 days. It has an inclination of 13.9º. It has a diameter of about 3.2 km.

The discovery of (96189) Pygmalion clashed with the release of the movie "The Beauty and the Beast" (Disney, 1991).

(96189) Pygmalion is related with the touching moments of dramatic tension, typical of 'Venus in square', in which the solution for love demands to take the most difficult path.
