Egyptian mythology

Apophis was the Greek name of Apep, the Egyptian god of destruction who dwell in the eternal darkness.

Apophis was a gigantic snake, powerful and indestructible, whose role was to interrupt the night run of the solar boat of Ra, before it reach the new day. To achieve his objective, he stired the fund to cause sand banks to made run aground the boat.

(99942) Apophis is related with marks and indications of danger, that force direction to be reoriented, when advancing through a risky field (9:8 resonance with the Earth-Moon system). The advance is fluid most of the time, except in singular points, which are highlighted in an environment of natural forms of great beauty.
