(2) Pallas, politics

(2) Pallas is an asteroid from the main belt discovered in March of 1802. It has a perihelion of 2.13 AU and an aphelion of 3.41 AU. It has an inclination of 34.8º. It has a diameter of about 500 km. There are important observations in May of 1983 and September of 2007.

Greek mythology

Pallas Athena is the goddess of wisdom, civilization, warfare, strength, strategy, female arts, crafts, justice and skill.

Athena competed with Poseidon to be the patron deity of Athens. They agreed that each would give the Athenians one gift and that the Athenians would choose the gift they preferred. Poseidon offered the first horse. Athena, however, offered them the first domesticated olive tree. The Athenians (or their king, Cecrops) accepted the olive tree and with it the patronage of Athena, for the olive tree brought wood, oil, and food. (Wikipedia: Athena)

The eighteenth century is the golden age of tractates, of abstract speculations on the best form of government, justice, economy, moral, etc... (Raymond Trousson, 1995)

The orbit is located at the middle zone of the main belt. It has a perihelion of 2.55 AU and an aphelion of 2.97 AU. The semimajor axis is at 2.76 AU. It has an orbital period of 4 years and 220 days. It has an inclination of 10.6º. It has a diameter of about 930 km.

Photometric observations were made in November of 1984, June of 1995 and between the years 2002-2004.

Roman mythology

Ceres was the goddess of agriculture, especially the cultivation and harvest of cereals. It was also related to fertility and maternal relationships. Its main function was to feed and nourish.

(1) Ceres is related with the ability to be receptive to physical and emotional needs of others; take care and nurture.

When taking care of babies, it distributes in a balanced way the time dedicated to breastfeeding, hygiene, physical contact and affective interaction and sleep time (5:23 resonance with the Earth-Moon system).

In the case of adults, the support and care provided is of the type bandage or heal a wound, give a massage, prepare food, keep company or let him/her rest or be alone if that is what he/she needs.

Amanda Bynes, actress of the movie "Lovewrecked" (2005), has Ceres in Virgo (8th/9th Moon-Node House), in trine with Mars-Neptune in Capricorn (4th/5th Moon-Node House), and in trine with Venus in Taurus (12th/1st Moon-Node House).
