Echo was a nymph who entertained Hera through long conversations, in order to facilitate Zeus's sexual encounters with other nymphs.

When Hera realized what was happening, she punished Echo by making her unable to speak; she only could repeat the last word of each other's sentence.

She became interested in Narcissus, a young man who lived in love with himself, after having observed her own reflection on a lake.

The asteroid Echo is related with the ability to reinforce conversation through words, sounds or gestures, which express emotions of approval, surprise, etc ... indicating that one is active listening (Aha... Aha...). Which can generate security, disinhibition or good humor in the other person, depending on the case, and significantly modify the rhythm of the conversation.

In certain cases, such as children or foreigners who are not fluent enough with the language, the asteroid Echo also allows to correct or rectify the communication of the other person.

John Cho, actor of the movie "Searching" (2018), has Echo in Gemini (8th Moon-Node House), in conjunction with Saturn.

Greek mythology

Arachne was the daughter of Idmon of Colophon, a dyer who dyed wool with the purple of Tire. She lived in Hipepa, where she had her workshop. Her ability to knit and embroider was extraordinary, but the praise she received ended going up to the head of the young woman, to the point of affirming that her abilities were superior to those of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war, and also of crafts. The goddess was angry, but gave the young Arachne a chance to redeem herself:

Athena assumed the form of an old woman and warned Arachne not to offend the gods. The mortal scoffed and proposed a weaving contest in which she could prove her superiority. Athena took off her disguise and the contest began. Athena wove the scene of her victory over Poseidon, which inspired the citizens of Athens to name the city in her honor. The Arachne tapestry, on the other hand, represented twenty-two episodes of infidelities of Zeus to Hera with Leda, Europa, Danae and others, in which he participated disguised as different animals.

At first, Athena recognized that the young woman's dexterity had been perfect, but then she realized how disrespectful the subject she had chosen had been. Her anger led her to destroy the tapestry and turn Arachne into a spider.

The asteroid Arachne is related with the ability to direct resources and personal skills towards a positive and beneficial aim.

Desperated, Orpheus decided to descend into the underground world to search for her. Thanks to his charm with the lyre, he got Charon to take him in his boat to the other shore of the Styx lagoon, that the Cerberus guardian opened the doors of the underworld to him, and also that Hades allowed him to take his beloved back.

Peneus, official name of the satellite of the asteroid (41) Daphne

The satellite of the asteroid (41) Daphne was discovered in March 2008 and oficially named Peneus in March 2019.

Peneus, son of the titans Oceanus and Thetis, was a river god in Greek mythology. He had a son and three daughters with the nymph Creusa.

When Eros, god of passionate love, became angry with Apollo for having mocked about his skill with the bow, he shot an arrow to make him fall in love with Daphne, one of Peneus' daughters, knowing in advance that she would reject him.

When Daphne saw that Apollo was about to reach her, she asked her father for help and he turned her into a laurel tree. For Apollo, that tree was sacred.

Geographical place

Palma is a port city located on the Island of Mallorca (Balearic Islands, Spain).

In the 18th century the city recovered the name 'Palma', whose origin is Roman (1st century BC), after the Muslim period ('Madina Mayurqa', from the 10th century) and the Catalan period ('Ciutat de Mallorca', from the 13th century).

The asteroid (372) Palma was discovered by Auguste Charlois at the end of the 19th century in Nice (France).

The asteroid Palma is related with the ability to communicate in situations where it is difficult for other person to be able to understand us and it is necessary to make an effort to believe that the other person really can do it if we propose it.

In this way, the asteroid Palma has the ability to explain technical or scientific concepts in a simple and easy way to understand by people without specific training in these fields; or to communicate with foreign people, who do not know the local language well, using a very basic vocabulary.

Paula Patton, actress of the movie "Deja Vu" (2006), has Palma in Sagittarius (12th Moon-Node House), in conjunction with Mercury --which is in conjunction with the Sun, which is in conjunction with Neptune--; and in square with Pallas in Pisces (9th Moon-Node House).

Euphrosyne wore a gold-colored bracelet in her left hand and adorned her hair with flowers. In one of her hands she held a smiling mask, which represented happiness and joy.

Euphrosyne is related with the feelings and thoughts that are communicated during a physical union with another person, for example during pregnancy, holding a baby, or hugging another person.

"Divergent" (2014)

Shailene Woodley, actress of the movie "The Descendants" (2011) and "Divergent" (2014), has Euphrosyne in Scorpio (2nd Moon-Node House) in conjunction with Mars and Pluto, which are in conjunction with the Sun; and in sextile with the Black Moon in Capricorn (12th Moon-Node House).
