(128) Nemesis is a main belt asteroid (middle zone II) discovered in November of 1872. It was spotted without being identified in April of 1952.

It has a perihelion of 2.40 AU and an aphelion of 3.09 AU. The semimajor axis is at 2.75 AU. It has an orbital period of 4 years and 204 days. It has an inclination of 6.2º. It has a diameter of about 170 km.

Photometric observations were carried out in July 2015.
