Greek mythology

Ate (‘ruin’, ‘folly’, ‘deception’), influenced by Hera, convinced Zeus to make his next mortal son a great ruler. But then, Hera delayed the birth of Heracles and advanced that of Euristeo, exchanging the fates of each. Zeus, angered, expelled Ate from Olympus forever, throwing her towards Earth, where she wandered the world, stepping on the heads of human beings instead of the ground, causing enormous chaos.

The asteroid Ate is related with fumigation of crops by means of spray equipment or disinfection of surfaces by means of spray cans (4:3 resonance with Hygiea).
