(29) Amphitrite is a main belt asteroid (middle zone I) discovered in March of 1854.

It has a perihelion of 2.37 AU and an aphelion of 2.73 AU. The semimajor axis is at 2.55 AU. It has an orbital period of 4 years and 30 days. It has an inclination of 6.1º. It has a diameter of about 206 km.

Photometric observations were carried out in 1979 and 2007-2008.

Amphitrite was a goddess of the sea, salt water and springs of highly mineralized waters. She was the personification of the calm and sunlit aspect of the sea.

The god Poseidon wanted to marry Amphitrite, but she was in great awe of her distinguished suitor, and with grace and celerity, she managed to glide out of his sight, and hid from him in the Atlantic Ocean. The grieving Poseidon sent a dolphin to look for her and persuade the fair nymph to come back and share his throne. Amphitrite agreed to marry Poseidon and the King of the Deep was so overjoyed at these good tidings that the dolphin was awarded a place in the heavens, where he now forms a well known constellation Delphinus (the Dolphin). (111) Ate is a main belt asteroid (middle zone I) discovered in August of 1870. It was spotted without being identified in May of 1911 and January of 1935.

It has a perihelion of 2.32 AU and an aphelion of 2.86 AU. The semimajor axis is at 2.59 AU. It has an orbital period of 4 years and 64 days. It has an inclination of   4.9º. It has a diameter of about 135 km.

Two stellar occultation occurred in the year 2000.

(97) Klotho is a main belt asteroid (middle zone I) discovered in February of 1868.

It has a perihelion of 1.99 AU and an aphelion of 3.35 AU. The semimajor axis is at 2.67 AU. It has an orbital period of 4 years and 133 days. It has an inclination of 11.8º (semiquincile@12º, 0º13' orb). It has a diameter of about 84 km.

Photometric observations were carried out in 1971, 1980-1985 and 1990.

Clotho and her sisters (Lachesis and Atropos), formed the group of Three Moiras, responsible for controlling the birth and death of each individual human being through the thread of life: Clotho manufactured the thread from textile fiber, Lachesis determined its length, and Atropos cut the thread.

The asteroid Klotho is related with the ability to finish what is started, fulfilling until the date indicated in the contract or until the completion of the task specified in the agreement.

Greg Kinnear, actor of the movie "Little Miss Sunshine" (2006), has Klotho in Cancer (1st Moon-Node House) in golden aspect GA1@137º30' with the Crossing Point of the Age Progressions (Signs Horoscope) in Scorpio (8th Moon-Node House).

Dustin Hoffman, actor of the movie "Straw Dogs" (1971), has Klotho in Leo (4th Moon-Node House) in conjunction with the Sun; and in semisextile with the Moon and Neptune in Virgo (3rd Moon-Node House).
