(5143) Heracles is an apollo asteroid discovered in November of 1991. It has a perihelion of 0.4 AU and an aphelion of 3.3 AU. The orbit is between Mercury and main asteroid belt. It has a diameter of 4 km. There is a prediscovery image back to November of 1953.

In Carthage mythology of the Western Mediterranean, especially in the island Ibiza, Tanit was a goddess of fertility.

In the year 1988 appeared the movie "Gorillas in the Myst", which tells the true-life story of naturalist Dian Fossey and her ethological work in Rwanda with Mountain Gorillas. She also dedicated herself to saving the African Mountain gorilla from illegal poaching and likely extinction.
